Q: Is Ozone safe?

A: Yes. Ozone is safe when used properly.
Remarkably its cleaning effects are better than harsh chemicals like bleach, iodine, hydrogen peroxide and chlorine. The EPA has published regulations to the amount of ozone that is considered safe for human consumption in occupied rooms. Machines that are sold for the purpose of “Air Cleaning” and used in rooms that are “Occupied” have to follow certain EPA requirements. The Wig Purifier system encloses the hairpiece inside the chamber of the display case. This allows the contained ozone to do its work with hardly any disbursement outside the Wig Purifier. One of the remarkable features of the Wig Purifiers system is that its able to produce the highest level of ozone required for sterilizing, sanitizing and deodorizing your hairpiece within the safest levels. Ozone Clean has also installed a special safety device that automatically shuts off the Purifier when the door opens.

Q: Is ozone flammable?

A: The Wig Purifiers system uses ambient air to create ozone. The ambient air we breathe contains about 20% oxygen. For combustion to occur, there must be a concentration of at least 25% oxygen. However, Ozone Clean recommends that the Wig Purifier is not stored or operated by any heat source or open flame, as this may damage the finish on the Purifier.

Q: Can I place a wet wig inside?

A: No. You should not attempt to sterilize a wet hairpiece in the Purifier. The cleaning power of the activated oxygen works best on dry hair. The Wig Purifier was designed to reduce the frequency of washing to save you time and money.

Q: How does it work?

A: By harnessing the power of oxygen! The magic of the Wig Purifier comes from an electric arc, which activates the power of oxygen molecules (O2) to split from their bond creating two oxygen atoms (O). The single oxygen atoms attach with an already existing oxygen molecule (O2), activating the molecule while creating an ozone molecule (O3).

After ozone is produced, one of the three-oxygen atoms eagerly splits off the ozone molecule to attach itself to any particle or pollutant it comes into contact with. The single oxygen atom proceeds to interfere with the metabolism of bacteria cells, eliminating the possibility of reproduction by inhibiting and blocking the operation of enzymatic control.

A: You have 30 days to try the Wig Purifier and if you are not completely satisfied with the savings and the convenience, simply return it for a complete refund. It is the customers responsibility to ship the unit to be returned to Ozone Clean LLC, after you have established an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number with our customer service department at 1(586) 273-7849.
