It makes perfect sense that you would like to purchase a discount wig. After all, wigs can be terribly expensive! Of course, before you buy a wig at a discount price, make sure that you are still getting your money’s worth.

• Fit – try it on. Make sure that it fits you well.
• Natural hair? Verify whether or not the wig is made from natural or synthetic hair.
• Lace front – for a natural look, you want to be sure that the wig has a lace front for a natural hairline. Check and see that the hairs are tied on individually at the front of the wig. On the crown, it is ok if up to 8 hairs are tied into one spot.
• Style, color, and length – these are all things that you can change (if it is a human hair wig), so do not focus too much on these aspects.
• Source – if possible, do a background check on the source of the discount wig. Check with the Better Business Bureau. Ask for references, etc.
